I'm in the wrong business......wow thats expensive. My car would still be stock if i couldn't tune myself - could never afford tune after tune to keep the car running fresh.

Well like I said guys, DTM is 350 and that includes dyno time and he has a load
bearing Mustang just like Chad. Unfortunately unless your like trav and tune
it yourself, your not going to get much cheaper then that. Now the Jestr tune
with chad dyno time yes that's to pricey even for my taste. I'm just trying to help
everyone out and coordinate something I don't set the prices.

One thing I like about Jester is that he is good at what he does......John is a good guy and has helped me out many many times......thanks John, but I dont believe I will have that kind of cash when it comes down to it......

I dont have much knowledge when it ccomes to tuning and dynos, is there a downfall to a mustang dyno?

A dyno is just a tool to measure for tuning - mustang will read lower than a dynojet but in the end its just a number. Its just a way to see if the changes you make are good or bad depending if they make more power or less? But its just a number and doesn't really mean much. I have seen cars road tuned that went really fast at a track but did horrible on a dyno. And I have seen cars dyno'd that had nice numbers but just didnt do well at the track to back up the numbers.

There are plenty of tuners out there that can do the job - about the only difference is just there tuning style and how they approach it. But there is no magic involved....a car can only do what it can do, its always limited to parts selection, mechanical issues, etc.

There is no downfall to a mustang dyno. though it usually produces lower numbers. But numbers dont mean nuttin unless it is backed up bye some track time in the real world!!!!

Some of you guys are asking about Chads tuning. You should ask Brian (aka TheGame) about his experience. I am certain he has had chad flash his VIII

bro....

Just a quick note:

I would look at a tuner and respect him more by the question: Do they tune there own cars? and if not why can they tune others but not trust themselves enough to tune there own? and if they dont why should I trust them to tune my car?

Well the only problem is, they are few tuners out there that don't have some bad reviews from customers. Here is the website from DTM http://dtmmotorsport.net/services.html I talked with Nick the owner there and he seemed like a good guy. His Evo layed down the fastest lap time at beaver run during a the redline time trial in the stock class. I have seen some positives in the review section about DTM. However, after doing some digging I found past drama
associated with him. So what do you do? I don't have a answer.

All I know is, with my cams and intercooler and a few other changes I need a retune.
Chad said my past flash was on the lean side, however Dave looked at it and said
it looked conservative. Who knows!!
