Anyways, Anybody heading to Starlite tomorrow? weather looks to be fantastic.
Yeah..where is it at...I am supposed to pick my car up after work, and am sure that I would like to go for a ride...after not driving it for almost a month

P.s. I think I smoked my clutch the other day and i'm kinda concerned about those flash light drags - doesnt seem to be grabbing very well. Kind of disconcerting as I don't have the money to fix it if it goes...spent it all on my wheels
starlite is out in wexford on route 19.

if you take 279 north to the wexford exit, and follow 910 until it meets with 19, then take 19 north, you will pretty much run right in to it on your left. across from sheetz.

if you're coming up mcknight road, just keep going straight, mcknight turns in to 19, goes past Baierl and then same deal, you run right in to it.

There's no bigger Pens fan than one like myself. I was right there when they were 28-54 a few years back. We all find consulation in the defeat, but sadly next year may not be as glorious. Malone will probably be gone. Hossa most likely as well. Roberts is on the brink of retirement. Gonchar may not have many left either. I think we have him for one more season. At any rate, it's going to be a different team. And with Malkin's entry level contract expiring, he'll command at least 8 million a year. Combine that with Sid's 9 mil and Gonchar's 5 and you're already almost half way to the cap. Fleury and Staal will also command lots of dough soon. Can you say Tampa Bay Lightning???

Shero said it the best - "In this league today there's only a window of a few years to win a cup." This was the first chance. Hopefully next year we can pull it off again.

(I should have been a Penguins writer. Better than that ******* Bob Smizick)

dave and i went to the first one, we were two of about 6 japanese cars there total, and we got a good amount of dirty looks and scoffing.

one guy's son started walking over to our cars all excited, and his dad grabbed him and redirected him towards a close by charger.

on the one hand it can be amusing to see old muscle heads hating on my car, but it can be a bit irritating as well.

over all the show is a nice atmosphere though, and they had apple dumplings in the food area, so that rocked.

Beaverun Wilson Circuit Time Trials

Don't Miss your chance to take home the Cup!

Sure the Pens will have to wait until next year but you can take home the cup in less then two weeks!

Justin had a good idea of having a little friendly competition at the time trial since most of us are fairly evenly matched. Hell even I might have a fighting chance this time.

Throw in $5.00 into a cup and the person with the FTD goes home with the prize. ALL the cash($25.00 WOOHOO!) AND

A Pittsburgh Penguins Souvenir cup!(plastic) retail value $6.00+ drink tax

Apple dumplings. Certainly don't have anything that tasty at Hot Import Nights.
The brand new GT500 Mustang that needed jump started. Someone forgot to tell the owner Flip Over Read Directions. The place was just about empty and you could see the disdain in his eye as he contemplated asking us for a jump.

See I've never encountered that down there. I mean, I don't have a bunch of
guys looking at my car, but doesn't matter to me. I go walk around and check
what everyone else has. Most are friendly and are car guys.
