I raise you one. I know when I PM'd you earlier I asked you not to share these pictures. I didn't want Eric to back out of our race. Now I realize that it just isn't going to happen. I'm hoping to bring it out sometime this fall and we'll have a mini DSM meet! I'm thinking of putting the car in storage after this year and hanging up my helmet. I'm not sure yet . Anyways picturz:
This is one two days before the 2006 DSM shootout in ohio.
This is a video of that event:

This is a video of most of 2006. I used to have headgasket issues all the time back then. I have since learned how to keep the headgaskets together.

Then in 2007 I built a motor but sold my 50 trim turbo. I couldn't afford the turbo I wanted at the time, a GT35R so I settled on a stock 14b that I rebuilt because it was seized up when I got it. I took parts from two other mangled turbos to make 1 good turbo. I ran 12.0 at 122 on that. Then I put another 50 trim back on and lost the pistons due to a fuel starvation issue. Back to a stock bottom end for me!
Now 2008. I put a lot of weight back in the car. Cage, scattershield, heavier more comfy seats, more of an exhaust, stupid **** like that. It looks much nicer but its also heavier. It runs the same 11's at 130 as before however it was doing it in some serious heat. It might go faster in the fall, it might go slower. I don't care anymore as I don't have time to work on it.

It will be exciting to see how the 2g turns out for you. When properly prepped the DSM drive trains are amazingly strong. The 6 bolt engines are also much stronger, however the evo cylinder heads flow better and don't flex as bad as the flex-o-matic DSM cylinder heads. IE: evos hold headgaskets better than DSM's but DSM's have a much superior bottom end. However we have learned over the years how to make the DSM headgaskets hold so its really a non issue anymore for people running slower than high 6's LOL.

Transformers was a good movie though. I can't disagree there.

i was a little put off by the new indiana jones movie at first, but when you think about indiana jones has always been kind of out there.
it just wouldn't be the same if the movie wasn't a bit mad.

The aliens just went outside the reality of the movie to me. That is when a movie gets ruined for me. Like in Independence Day when Will Smith was able to just get into the alien ship and immediately be able to fly it. I am ok with the alien thing just as long as it is consistent with the reality of the movie, and in the new Indiana Jones it wasn't.
