question,
i'm registering for the aug time trial. its $119 and some change in total-but it's asking me to pay with pay pal. my credit card it set up through there- and i'd much rather pay cash/check for this event. will they still be taking payments durring the morning???

LOL - then your buddy is a cheapass and selected the cheap tint (probably against Toby's advice!) I had Solar Control do my Audi a year and a half ago and not one issue.
I've seen work by both and they both do very good work - can't go wrong with either, but if you cheap out on the quality of film you pick it's not exactly their fault.

Well after a great weekend of taking pictures of a friend's wedding I am back at home. I also had some time to practice the launch and I think I discovered my major problem. My 2-step is set at 5500 which is just WAY too low to get any boost off the line. Even when I really really slipped it I still fall flat on my face with no boost because of the lag from the 35r. One of my buddies has a cable and I have evoscan so we should be able to fix this and get in the boost range off the line. I think that with my setup around 6400 sounds right, anyone who has had some experience with this in the past feel free to lend some thoughts.

hey guys, i have a favor to ask. i lost one of the bolts that holds the heat shield on to my exhaust manifold. it's a short one with an allen drive on top.
does anyone have any extra bolts lying around for that?
i know some of you guys have to have some extra bolts around i could get.

I have a can with extra bolts and surely I have those. I never want to risk having the car not put together right because I strip some nut so I tend to buy extra first.

A stainless steel clutch line is not in your mod list.
Do you have one?
If not you should.
Launching the car with stock clutch line with restrictor pill in much harder.
