Both the Red and CBRD's turbo look very promising. It's nice to have options.

Secret Bike Rebuild

So guys I've been really hush hush but I got my bike build I started two weeks ago complete. I contracted out with a local builder my friend at Slow Bob Racing to do the work

My bike has been down with a broken chain link and a flat tire. A good opportunity to upgrade.

Stronger brake cables(for rear brake turns), returned gear ratios and a new chain.

Also got new upgraded handles for a firm grip on such an *** kicking ride.

All is good now, However, the rain stopped me from running her today. Hopefully I'll have pics and vids soon.

Good things come to those who wait but its great to be back on the road.

Without the proper tools, even the most mundane tasks can seem overwhelming. I used to struggle taking lug nuts off because I didn't have the right tools. Well, actually... I still do because dumbasses put the 250 ft-lb impact gun on the lugs and go to town. My 1/2'' drive torque wrench was clicking literally, I **** you not, at 200 ft-lbs one time on my lug nuts on my VIII. This is why I now request hand torquing my wheels to spec - 80 ft-lbs. I even broke a 3/8'' extension on lug nuts. That's some serious torque!
I just got some PB Blaster, brake oil and an 18" 3/4 drive breaker bar. I finally was able to start loosening 3 of the 4 big screws in the rear (2 on each side). I will need to get a longer socket though for the fourth one if I'm gonna be removing that screw without removing the hub.

The next big obstacle seems to be getting the strut mount screws off since it looks like they can only be taken out if I remove the rear seat to a certain extent. But i dont think its gonna be as problematic as the lower strut screws, or at least I hope so.

Its just a plug - you unplug it and no more pushing the clutch pedal in to start, this was my first mod when I bought the car. I just check to be in neutral, push firmly on the brake pedal and turn the key....

Its a simple life changing mod - not like bushings

Yeah mine is the same way thanks to trav.....i was able to adjust the clutch pedal a bit and it feels better. Also noticed the exedy quit making noise when i was coasting along in 3rd downhill......but getting to that adjustments is not a job for a big guy like me.....

you do have to be some form of contortionist to get in there. usually getting positioned is the hardest part of the job.

i always end up upside down with the drivers seat all the way back, cursing and yelling at the push rod for the clutch pedal.

Nikon D50.

The camera means nothing. It's the lenses.
