just wanted it done, i don't drive much in winter, unless it's to go do some doughnuts!
there was 4 evox's at s park mitsu today, lowest was 33k, dropped from sticker of 38k. i think there was 0% on the sheild too. they also have a modded 04sti with a fmic, tinted window and a serial cable wrapped the the steering wheel. it was 24k last week, now it's 20k(still way too much) good friend just got an 06sti for 17k.
prices are all over the place.

Thought so thanks. I'll be doing my timing belt early on the EVO.
Probably a good time to get cams in as well.
Even if they aren't as great on the IX's.
Another technical question for you if you have a minute.
With Mivec, if I get aftermarket cams, say HKS 272 can I make the idle much more stock like with the mivec tuning then the cams on the 8 were?

IX cams were a hit or miss from day leading back to the turbo trix intake cam that lost power.
The GSC / cosworth / FP cams all seem to have great results, on the forum.
The HKS/BC/TT and a few others have not shown the results for the money.
Remember, stock IX cams are supposed to be as aggressive as VIII 272's

I have the cosworths in my IX and like them a lot, Trav thinks it pulls pretty good
up top, especially for not hitting boost till late. (Problem I have to track down)

Got 7 of my 8 intake valves today. Waiting for the other one that was out of stock.
Guides are coming with the lucky # 8 also.

Nothing really they're just a pain in the ***. Awesome units to do routine work on or even troubleshooting. But the ****ing components are impossible to source. Blower motors and condenser fan motors are made specifically and exclusively for AAON so of course you get raped. Nothing comparable from Grainger or RE Michels, or anywhere. (I like that place by the way. ) I've never had trouble finding **** for most York, Carrier, and Trane units. I don't know... $600 for a 3 hp, 480 3-phase, 1725 rpm, belt driven blower motor. Of course it's no big deal because I'm not buying it, the company is. But I still have to listen to all the BS from the store about it being too hot
. Not to mention we're a multi-billion dollar corporation and we're on a nationwide strict spending budget. I need a new job...
