I doubt the garage would want to take that on, since its not a factory turbo car, or one that we converted. The garage is backed up til the end of february.

oz, the only thing I can think of is that since they are installing a clutch on a NA car, that in the future is going to become boosted, problems could arise from the additional torque and start to slip or whatever. And you technically could hold them liable thinking it was a bad install or whatever. That's just my guess.

My car is so backed up, parts on backorder, parts we cannot get, etc. I think the IX is looking better everyday.

I don't know of many garages that will do clutch jobs for first time customers.

You are exactly right.... And the fact that we only like to install parts that we sold, not just do the work so when the part fails we get balmed and are wanted to back a product up we didnt even sell.. The situations just never go good, and I woudl just rather stay away from it. If an Evo owner buys a clutch somewhere else, why woudl i want to just do the install. We are swammped with installs with people who are buying our products. We are not a garage around the corner that is just here to do labor specializing in tuner cars. We have the shop to offer the luxury of having a plce to install the products they just bought from us. We stay away from normal mechanic jobs and are stictly custom.

I don't see a problem as long as the owner of the car and the shop of whoever does it makes a contract stating something a long the lines of "I _________________ hereby agree that in the future, if i am to do more modifications to my car i cannot and will not hold _________ responsible for parts failing. " something of that sort. I mean i doubt whoever you go to will do a bad job intentionally to get away with your money and not be held responsible... Do some research there are tons of shops that would do the install.
