Got the DSM tore the f8ck apart today. I think my friends car is going to be quick. We've got enough spare trannies, engines, rear ends, tx cases, driveshafts, and axles so we should be in good shape.
Cut right through the pipe with minimal effort, pos Chinese ebay test pipe - I give the attempt at a great joke an "A"......but the outcome was a big fat "FAIL".

Nice part is I have a "catalytic converter" back on my car and it is much quieter now....my car is probably extremely slow now but oh well.

Those wheels are garbage but for that price its tempting.

I am in the burgh and will be getting an Evo 9 here in the coming months. Where do you guys go for tuning? Does SBR know what they are doing? I have heard bad things about those guys. What about hybrid dynamics? I know they are Honda guru's but havent heard anything about them outside the Honda realm.

Good time to buy. EVO prices have gotten really attractive lately.

Proven setups , Proven tuning , Proven Motors. Proven experience ,Proven real world results.

haha not to be biased or anything lol

they have actually built 700+ motors since 2002. there is about a 1% of which may have resulted in an issue. I love people who buy a motor, put it in, plug in an AEM attempt to street tune it, blow the motor and make a fuss online.

I have read the horror stories, and i guess i am a supporter becuase i work there, but it also gives me an opportunity to see the other side of the story.

there truly are people out there that DO NOT deserve a built motor.. for instance people calling in asking, i need fly wheel bolts for my evo. "okay they are $3.00 a pop" Ok, so how many do i need then?

buschur and ams are great companies. the choice is yours

yeah there is always the other side of the story that most people dont want to hear. I still have yet to have a bad experience from slowboy. But i only got tuning done there on a wrx and an Sti by Nate. As far as built motors go i doubt that after 700+ builds they still dont get it right. Building motors is NOT rocket science people. It seems like people love to jump on the "i hate slowboy" bandwagon before they actually have had any real experience with them..

I would recommend calling them and a few other nearby shops (buschur, slowmotion motorosports...ect) Talk to the tuner and see what they recommend. If not you could always get a tactrix cable and tune your own car with a wideband. Tuners want you to think that its something so hard that only they can tune your car for you...which is not true. Tuning...also not rocket science.

yeah i would buy and resell in a second if i wasnt broke.

Hybrid dynamics does not have an AWD dyno IIRC.
