I'm NOT saying that this is not a professional operation. From everyone's comments, it's CLEAR that this is a respected shop. My point is only that the WEBSITE does not convey that message.
This wasn't meant as a put-down...I'm just happy that people have turned me on to a shop that I would otherwise not have taken seriously based on the impression I got from their website.

I hope you realize that the WHOLE POINT of my post was to say THANKS. I am very happy that the people on this board have turned me onto your shop. I stated very clearly that my first impression was negative...BUT, based on the glowing endorsements from this board, I looked at the shop in a new light. I don't see why this is being interpreted as bashing.

However, my local dealer (Cite Mitsubishi) used to be an exotic car dealer. Two of the owners had owned older Evos back in Lebanon. They were the local shop that many of the DSM drivers trusted for major work. Their techs were able to service the Evo and get parts and everything without any trouble. They took good care of me for the last couple of years.
The only problem was that they put the wrong gear lube in my t-case once! They used generic Mitsu gear lube (GL-4, non-LSD) instead of the DiaQueen. They killed my t-case. But they recognized that it was their mistake and got me a new t-case under warranty. It was ordered and installed within a day or two. But then again, I've heard of other Mitsu dealers in the US who've done the same thing.

[BTW, I think it's safe to say that Evos were MUCH better known and respected in Canada than the US before 2003. People are nuts about rally racing here and the Evo is a hero car. There are a bunch of Evo 4's, 5's, and 6's participating in the local Quebec rally circuit. One of our local Mitsu dealers runs an Evo 8 rally car. There is even a local Subaru dealer that offers coilovers, aftermarket ECU's, and other goodies to turn STi's into rally cars. And they don't void your warranty as long as you have them do the install.]

As for there rate $75 bucks an hour is cheap for such complete and detailed work! Check around nothing is cheap in Boston, and they stand by there work.
I won't step foot in a Mitsubishi dealer for service free or not. I love my Evo to much to let the clowns at he local dealer mess it up.
Bottom line if you love and respect your car DentSport is the shop for you!

No offense taken my friend. I know our site is different than others but that's what we were trying to avoid. You were careful to state your opinion but you were also sharp toned. I hope you can come down and see what we're all about.
Bill and I have spent all of our time, money and energy raising this "child" for two years. We guard our reputation fiercely; especially when we see what kind of waterfall effect the internet can have on a business' reputation (usually from non customers even!)
Bill is a mechanic for Protomotive Mazda on the SCCA professional touring car championship, we service a former WRC Escort for a friend of ours as well as 3 other Pro Rally cars. I've been a mechanical Engineer at BU Center for Space Physics for 3 years prior to opening this shop with Bill.
Our long term projects at this time include what should be the world's fastest Galant VR4 (although there are so many fast ones coming up lately), one of the top 10 most powerful Subarus and there's more to come. This has only been year 1.
We probably won't ever change the site as we're not interested in selling parts online unless it's to an existing walk-in customer or a UK resident etc. This is why our site doesn't say
"click here for manufacturer"

The folks at DSG certainly know their stuff. Right now I have my Evo there for some installations and they have gone out of their way to try and help me put the car together by Monday so I can get it to Dynoflash on time.
Besides, Mitsubishi dealers charge $85 for an hour of work.
There may be other stores that can complete work on your Evo for lower prices, but the quality of their work may not be up to par. I rather pay more and have everything completed in one go, then to pay a lower price and end up having problems.
