WASSAP
Hey everyone this is my first ever post in this forum. I'm not really from the northeast but close enough. Im from like 10 miles from DC. I have a yellow oz and its okay. I think it was faster when i had my stock intake. When i switched it to K&N it just got louder. I was able to beat cars like honda civic dx, lx, ex didnt really matter but now, i can barely beat them. All i know is, the lancer comes stock with cold air intake. I dont think my intake is cold air. Its just K&N i think its oval tapered filter. Any ways i was wondering how everyones car is going... I am getting a custom built greddy evo cat back exhaust. Only thing thats going to be hard is, the lancer has 2 catalytic converters which makes the horsepower way lower then it should be. well i dont know...im only 17....i just want a civic killer.

About the intake, just for that reason, I think I'm going to go with the RMR one from the dealership, it keeps the cold air pipe intact and looks fresh. Plus the Connecticut dealerships are tite asses (oops) about warranties. My car is bone stock now, it's pretty peppy...my friend with a nice integra drove it and said it was quick just like it is (mad props ) So, I can't wait for the RMR exhaust and intake next weekend. About your cat, RRE has a bypass pipe...i dunno how emissions friendly your area is:

Let me know if you are interested in the NOPI Nationals too in VA this August...
Good luck with your civic killing

put a highflow cat in instead of that test pipe...the difference is horse power is almost nothing. you'll pass emissions with a highflow, but not with that test pipe

Oops my bad....
Check out www.nopi.com its an import show and drag races. I was thinking a bunch of us could go in a small group and talk to different manufacturers about the Lancer to see what they are working on, or see what they can do. Plus who doesn't like drag racing?

Yeah, I think it's about time I start sticking lancerforums.com slips of paper under people's wipers. There's a couple of LS's I see every thursday night at school, and Lancers are beginning to turn up in daily driving now (previous to an x-mas trip to the mall i'd seen ZERO) I'm going to be such a ***** on AND off the boards. Beware!!
