Any new ideas or cars coming?

 

Alright guys we need more people to come. This is the new news on the meet. For anyone who shows up for the meet on July 5th the head guy in charge of the rallying course at Limerock, CT is going to give a free 3 hour lesson on how to rally professionally! Depending on how many people confirm that they are coming will decide whether or not we will also get free laps at his track later in the summer!

We have a few confirmaed sponsors for the show.
1) Budweiser (yes the beer place with free beer)
2) Peter Pan Bus Lines with free tours of downtown and the surrounding area on the double decker open top busses
3) The Basketball Hall of Fame

5) E&S Performance (a local performance shop)

 

Wow Sir Lancelot, you really pulled out all the stops for this one, I mean, Budweiser and DARE are both sponsoring, thats amazing!! Anyway, Count me in!

WOW all i can say is WOW it's about 2 1/2 hours away but i think i might have to make the trip up it sounds too good. anyone wanna go and train it up let me know, pm me

well reguardless of the sponsors, count me in.. im about hour and a half from springfield.. hmmm.. and now that i think about it.. club Asylum is in Springfield MA.. maybe ill come for the show during the day and stay the night for Ayslum! I'll def. be there!!!

oh, will the dealer have an Evo for test drives available?!?!?

Yeah. I have to figure out whether I'm picking up my girl or she's coming to Jersey first. Makes more sense for her to come to Jersey cuz it's on the way, but we'll see. If I pick her up I'll just meet you on the way back. Otherwise there's plenty of places to meet along the way.

anyone wanna drive up together from boston.

 

I can check with the owner whether or not he will let us drive his cars. I'm sure he will though! He throws the annual 3000 GT meet every year, so I told him to invite them as well. This is going to be an awsome meet.

In the past few days we have come up with some new ideas:
1) Hold a second meet sometime in september @ the Smith and Wesson gun manufacturers parking lot. Its about 5 minutes from where we are going to be in July. There we will be able to set up a road course for rallying (the porche and corvette club currently do ut there twice a year) so it wont be a problem.
2) Then hold a final meet in the Springfield Civic Center (where the springfield falcons play hockey) sometime in december. Indoors in the winter! The place has a lower section where all the cars can be washed and prepped for show before bringing them onto the show floor. This one would probably be not just a
meet, but more of a "Import Xpression" feel to it.

Any new ideas for this comming meet or for any of the ones in the future are appreciated.

We NEED about a 75 car turn out for this show in July! Thats just our Lancers. Lets here it guys!

 

I'll be showing up with my car also can't wait,should be a great turn out,maybe we can finaly get a club going.
