I didn't say I wouldn't make it... but my fiancee and I are scoping out a potential location for our wedding and it looks like its gonna have to be that morning. Since it's out in western MA, I'll already be nearby, so I'll definitely be at the meet, but I'm not gonna head back to eastern/central MA to meet up with the Boston guys in advance.

Thank you for the directions....
If possible could Nick and some others who are familiar with the area post or PM cell phone numbers just in case?

I just invited the Subi crew that is holding a meet this coming weekend in CT to the meet. They are having about 50 cars at there's so I told them that they are more than welcome to come to our meet since they were courteous enough to invite us to there's. I think it will give us a chnce to show what potential our Lancers and Evos alike have against the ever so popular Rex's! I said that the more people that we could get the more fun we could have, and this might be exactly what we need to spice things up! Brings out the competative nature in everyone when our #1 rival vehicle in our class is coming to the same meet. I expect everyone to be civil towards them, but competative at the same time!
Is anyone bringing a club with them to the meet?

Hey, what's up guys?
So you all know, I'm the one holding the Subaru meet. That'll be this weekend in Danbury, CT. Over 80 Subarus are listed, and I've got 19 guys listed from here.
At this moment, 5 people (which includes myself) are listed to show up at the Mits meet. Since you guys have this is Western Mass, it's good thing if you want Subaru guys to show up! Expect at least 20. though. This will surely be a subject at our dinner meet the Thursday before. I don't see it hitting near much higher than 25 to 30 though. I'm the only Connecticut member I know that will really even leave the state to go to a meet, and I can't see the NY or NJ guys driving that far. Still, the WMIC crew is big, and I think most of them will show. One guy you might already all know. Goes by Shofear. Drives a dark green 3000GT VR-4, with some 350hp at the wheels.
I'll keep an update though
Oh, on a side note... I appreciate the invitation. Obviously we're driving cars that have been rivals far longer than they have been here in the US. However, I do believe we all have a very particular common interest regardless of the name brand. A respect for a superior breed of cars. I'm hoping at the least, we can all get along and maybe even have many united meets together. I suppose these 2 weekends will decide that!
Looking forward to meet you guys

Great to hear that you and your boys will be showing up to the meet! Can't wait to see all your rides! Keep us updated on this thread with the number of people and vehicles to expect.

Alright guys... I got a little additional stuff to add here... First off, we've decided we don't have a chance in hell of affording to have our wedding at the place we were going to visit the morning of July 5th, so we will be able to meet up at the I-90 plaza with yycools and any other Boston people going there...
Second bit of news... I'm getting a B+M Short Shifter for my birthday from my fiance... my birthday being July 2nd. This will also include the energy suspension bushing listed with it on RRM's site, for those who haven't read my other thread about this. So the question I throw out to you guys is this... should I install this before getting there to have one more thing to show off or should I bring it along and plan to do the install there? I'd guess it could be somewhat fun/educational for others to do it there, but I don't know how long it will take or if it's a good idea in general. Those who've installed this already perhaps have some insight here?

I think the East MA people should meet on the pike and cruise down together, anyway, WBMALoz have been PMing me about where and when. I say we should meet at Charlton Plaza which is the service area between exit 10 and 9. Can we set a time on when to meet there? Any inputs?

As for the short shifter install, Gneel...it's damn easy, but don't let people crowd when you're doing it or you may lose a washer (like I did ) Remembering the assembly order is important.

But if I lose any parts that prevent me from driving home, that would obviously be pretty nasty. I guess so long as I bring like a big tupperware or something to hole every small piece I use, I'll be protecting myself from that kind of problem... or are you suggesting I should do this in my driveway instead?
No one's really expressed any interest in actually seeing it - only in having lots of people around in case of trouble. I'm not too worried about difficulties, so does anyone actually want to see it done? If not, I may as well do it at home - I was just figuring it would interesting to someone...
