Thumbs up July 5th North East Meet Confirmed...It's Show Time!

Sup, Just got baack from Houser and the owner said that he going to hold a North East Lancer and Mirage meet at the dealership! It is going to be on held on Saturday July 5th. the dealership is located in downtown Springfield, Mass across from the new Basketball Hall of fame!

It is about a 30 minute ride from Hartford. Not bad!
Paul Houser (the owner) said he is going to have hot dogs, hamburgs, soda, chips, and the rest of the normal picnic type of stuff. He is going to close down the dealership for the day and clear out his entire lot so that we can take it over. It will probably be from around 11 in the morning till about 8-8:30.

Lets see if we can get the same crew that went to the first meet in Berlin, and those who didn't show, and those who are comming to the car show in Mass on April 27th!

Now, why do you go and ask me that? I didn't set this up ;-P

Anyway... I haven't been there to be sure, but I'd estimate 25-30 minutes. When you came in, I think you came up I-91 and going here would be the same, just about half an hour further into Massachusetts (just a little over the border).

I'm basing this estimate on the Basketball Hall of Fame and my typical 75-80mph travel speed though. I suppose you could go like Mach4 or something and beat me there.

Well I live about 10 minutes from the dealership and it took me 30 inutes to get to Ruby's going about 75 mph. So Brad it should only take you about 10-15 going about 140mph again.
The dealership is has its own exit off of I-91 coming from the south...so it's not that hard to find, thank God!

It ain't so bad. It's about 3 hours each way assuming light to moderate traffic. Less depending upon how you drive. I've done my house to Worcester in 2:35 so you should be able to do LI to Springfield in about 3. Just watch for CT state troopers.

I don't want this to be like the first meet and have an expected 30 cars and only 8 show up! So that is why I made sure to give ample time for anyone who wants to go to put in for the day off at work and to keep the day clear of appointments and what not.

MalibuJack maybe you can come with Flybyevo, he's from your local area! The drive won't seem as long if your 2 Evo VIII's are going mach 1 to Mass !

Another good thing for all who want to attend... Houser can order directly from RMR so if anyone wants parts from RMR they can call Houser @ 413-733-5175 and order the parts so that day they will be there waiting for you. I'm going to see if Paul Houser would be willing to do free inspections and discount installations for any parts that day!

Just thinking of some more ideas to keep the day going and interesting. The more options there are the more people will attend...so if anyone has any suggestions of what to do, what to eat, what to suggest to the owner, anything goes guys!

Sir Lancelot,

This sounds very good.

I ran into MalibuJack last night. We shot the breeze for a while. He said he will be attending. We talked about driving up together and it sounds good. Get this: he said if he knew I was going on the 12th he would have went too... Imagine 8 cars and four Evo's....?

I hope the weather will be clear. Neil tap into your Visor and give us the forecast!!!!

Flybyevo
