Mitsubishi Motors Club of York, PA: June Meet

After two autocross events we are ready for a meet. We were once again able to get the parking lot at the Rutters farm store Putters Paradise and Snow Barn. This will allow us to have a larger parking lot, mini-golf course, and snow cone place all at our disposal.

The meet will be held Sunday June 18th at noon. What better way to spend fathers day then to come out and see some cars! No excuses now, the wife has to let you come! Space is somewhat limited so if you plan on coming please email me back and let me know. That way I can keep track of a car count. The first meet at the autocross was busted by rain. Hopefully this time we will make out better with the weather.

The Mini Golf/Snow Cone place is located at 125 Lightner Road in York, PA. You can use that address for mapquest directions.

I have been asked by a few people to try and get the CBRD Company Evo at a meet. I will ask Chad if he can come. Having that car there would be a treat. York Mitsubishi will have the Official Ralliart USA Evo IX MR there as well. I will keep you posted on other notable attendees.

Some people pm'ed me about the Ralliart Evo IX. Yes, I will be there with the York Mitsubishi Company Car. It is THE Ralliart USA Evo IX MR. It is the car built by Mitsubishi Motors North America and was on display at the 2005 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

I will keep you posted as to if Chad is bringing the VERY bad *** CBRD Evo MR.

I lot of guys have pm'ed me about the meet. Yes, it is wife/girlfriend/kids friendly. The Snow cone place is there and so is mini golf. Some guys may be going out to Damons, Cheeseburger in Paradise, etc. afterwards for food and beers.

Hell yeah! I'm totally down! I'm gonna try to bring two guys up from Hagerstown, MD too. I'll PM you later with the official number of cars coming with me but as for now count me in for sure!!!

How far is this from philly?

Depends where in Philly. Anywhere from 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours. I know a guy is coming from Quakertown as well and also a guy from Westchester. We have had guys from Cherry Hill NJ come before. That is usually just over 2 hours.

I had two people ask me the same question. Yes. Non-Mitsu's may come but the meet is mainly for MItsu owners. We usually have about 3-5 non mitsu's there. Usually friends of guys who have an evo or whatever and they wanna come. If its cool, bring it, but it is mainly intended for Mitsubishi vehicles. Any mitsu that is. Yes we have had expos, starions, outlanders and monteros.

Yes, mini golf is at this place. Usually the owner gives us a break on the cost of the golf cause we bring him a bunch of business.
