Feeler: Jestr Tuning meet

I wanted to throw this out there to get a feeling of how many of you guys would be interested in attending a Jestr Tuning meet for some custom tunes by the man himself? Cost for his custom tune will be $350.00 per car.

UPDATE (2/6/07): Alright, the place has been set - International Motorsports of 1372 Main Avenue; Clifton, New Jersey 07011 (973-253-3900). I spoke with John of Jestr Tuning and March 17th he will be available for tuning. He also mentioned that he could do March 16th if needed, which is a Friday. I personally perfer march 16th as the is an autocross event on March 17th, which is the last winter event prior to the summer series and I need to setup my new KWs. The only problem with the 16th is everyone would need to take the day off, which I am not sure everyone can.

Let me know which date people prefer so that I can confirm with Jestr and the dyno shop the number of people who will be there.

Update (2/12/06): Interested/Confirmed
1. evo8dad (definate confirmation)
2. legal-z (definate confirmation)
3. YellowFever (definate confirmation)
4. LostSolVTEC (confirmed)
5. Daisaw 1219 (confirmed
6. Evol.ved
7. jojipoji

I would probably be in - depending on when he would be coming. If it's early-ish spring I'd be in. Any idea on price, number of pulls, details, etc.?

Keep me updated

I am not sure on the details as I wanted to gauge interest. I'll give John a call today about the tuning expense as well as Xotic and update the thread then.

Xotic is located 999 GAP NEWPORT PIKE (RT 41);Cochranville PA 19330, about 30 minutes or so west of Philly. They do have an AWD dyno and are friendly to group rates.

I can fill in my details, expecially the financial part, once some interest is expressed.

I just signed up for his e-mail subscription and yes I'd be interested based on day/price.

I just spoke with John at Jestr Tuning. He charges $350.00 for a custom tune.

It seems pricey but , from doing research it is a fair price and very competitive with other tuners. Plus you get a totally custom tailered tune to meet your specific modifications and requests.

Well worth it in my opinion.

I'll start a list and get this rolling.

Well I will tell you this, John tuned my car this weekend and I saw a difference of 68 WHP from my first run to my final one. My car had no knock with rock solid AFR's!

I know not everyone will get 60+ whp, but if you get half that your making out. 350 sounds like alot but realyy for 350 what other mod could you do that would net you that kind of WHP ....and gas mileage too ??? LOL

That's not a bad price at all to be honest. Hell I paid more than that for a ****ty tune from a "Big" tuner. Like I said, as long as it's early spring, which is after I can get my meth kit in) then I'm in.

p.s., i'd prefer to get there early and go first since i'm probably at least 3.5 hours away.

Is that $350 + the dyno fees (which I'm sure would be around $100)?
Not sure if I'm in yet, but will keep an eye on this.
