1st Annual NE-Evos.net Atco Race-day!!!

You heard it right people... NE-Evos.net will be hosting a full day of racing at Atco Raceway this Summer.

The date: Wednesday July 25th

This is not just a track day...

We are renting the track!!

This will be a full day event, running from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. Gates open at 9:00AM.

The minimum turnout for participating vehicles is 10 cars, the maximum is 15 cars. The cost to race will be around $135. This may seem steep, but you need to weigh this price against the benefits of a full track rental. The more people that race, the lower the price will be.

Things you can expect:

- 4 runs an hour, totalling a potential 32 runs that day!
- Set up races against other members/friends, run against exactly who you want to!
- No stress of dealing with other race cars or crowds
- A great stress-free test and tune environment

NE-Evos will also be providing a BBQ Lunch the day of the event. Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Soda/Water. Any spectators who expect to eat, please pay $10 to cover food expenses... Racers eat for free.

As of right now, members of NE-Evos.net get priority. If you have friends that are not members, they are welcome to come, but if members decide to come late, non-members will be bumped. (An easy out is to sign up for the forum and post a bit  )

A $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot is due by the end of April, PM me for details

I understand that a weekday forces a day off of work, but I feel this is acceptable considering the benefit of a day of free reign on the track. There is also plenty of advance notice to request time off. Expect the date to be firm within 2 weeks.

Invite friends with cars of all makes and models. I would prefer to keep it to cars such as Evos, WRXs, and DSMs but there are no restrictions. Bikes can play too.

UPDATE DETAILS:

July 25th
- $50 Deposit due ASAP (paypal superhatch@gmail.com or pay me in person)
- Balance due by May 16th (You can pay the full amount up front if you wish)
- No Payment is Refunable!!! (If you are unable to go, I will set you up with people on the waiting list to fill your spot)

Options - We can have traction compound sprayed for the 1/8th mile on both lanes, but it is an additional $40 per person. We can wait to decide this until the day of the event if we wish.

Due to limited amount of workers at the track that day, they can't handle large amount of cars.

Nothing. You can stop by and watch for free.

Just so everyone knows. The main gate to get into Atco will most likely be closed and locked. You will most likely have to use the gate that goes into the back parking lot at the other side of the drag strip.

15 cars max? hahahah umm I understand the idea of renting out a track.. But usually, it is done to get as many Evos at a track as possible, not a 15cars!. Why would anyone pay $135 bux to make a possible 32 1/4 passes against the same 14 cars? I can pay $25 and take my chances and get maybe 8 runs on any other atco race day and watch a bunch of other cars too.

As far as spectating goes, what a blast to watch the same 15 cars race for 8hours over and over. Wonder how many cars will be left after 8hours of drag racing =x
