i had no idea

this is what it looks like (those rings) and it provides a better seal against the headgasket, for high boost applications. cylinder pressure determines whether or not its needed.

dex i just ordered a GM IAT sensor so i can do that mrfred manifold temp mod. I think i might pull off my intake mani so i can tap it for the sensor and be uber hawtness.

isn't there a spot to tap it on the top of the manifold? IAT would be pretty awesome. especially before you get an intercooler. I am assuming this gets fed to the ECU through one of the inputs, its been a while since i saw that thread.
