gas pockets on the pistons help this too when you get into boost. It pushed the ring into the cylinder wall.

oh and paul and i attempted to install my new bcs, and instead of capping off the nipple on the intake pipe for the bcs bleed line, they "removed" the nipple all together and plugged it with a nice shiny screw. DSG FTW!

WTF?

Make sure to put a pinhole in the line that goes to the WG actuator. That will allow pressure trapped in the line to escape when you let off the gas and will prevent the WG from opening prematurely.

Yea I woulda except we had some problems at the shop and I had no way of getting home as the shop was in roslindale or someplace like that. How was it anyways?

Dude! Soooo glad to hear that!!!! You gotta tell me what product/pads you used! I'm guessing you did two passes? Black is soooo hard to detail!

On a side note, my buddy that had the blk M5 that helped me get into detailing... well he traded that in for a tacoma a while ago... buuuttt he picked up a new toy. 03 cobra w/ 50k. He showd me before and after detailing pics... crazy difference (its blk as well)
