i could be down for something tonight. i'll give u a ring dave.
in case anyone is interested... this is what i decided for the evo:
- sticking with the SE painted lip
- keeping the f'd up rim for a spare in a dire emergency (the rim is fine, the finish is just ****ed)
- im leaving the scuffed tire on for now and just taking the reimbursement for it. i may replace this down the road (if i do i will atleast do the front pair), but for now i am too sketched out to replace just one tire. the tires are probably between 50-60% tread right now. i will probably put that 320 bucks for the tire towards the 3m clear bra and/or my winter blizzacks.
- as of now, i am going to have Al leave the front plate off if the bumper does not come with holes already cut out. for those w/o front plates, what has been ur experience so far?

Do not let him drill the bumper! I have been fine without it but i also stick to back roads and avoid the pike. If you take the pike a lot you might get some **** but if you drive normal and dont do anything stupid a cop will not pull you over for a front plate. I have been fine on both of my cars for over two years now. And local cops dont usually care if you get tagged by them.
Worst case is you get pulled over, figure out a way to temporarily mount it without drilling and fight the ticket. It all depends on how often you get pulled over.

^^ that is good to know. I figure if you are going to get in trouble for it anywhere it is going to be the pike.
Dave if you or any of the guys want to swing by my place tonight we could chill there. I have a few things i want to get back on mikies car tonight (driveshaft, shifter, ect) but otherwise we can do some grilling and watch some futurama

I am still not a fan of the Marlborough Firefly's parking lot for meets, especially at our normal meet time. The lot is just too cramped and full then.
I am alright with most other places though.
