yes, the silencer will rob power, but if he needs it for only a few said occasions, it is a good solution. I guess it is a matter of what Dex wants to spend. Heck, he may want the option to be nice and loud ie: track events or personaly prefference, and then need it quiet on a super hot date with some 'young philly' or a long hwy cruise to eliminate exh tone droneage.....who knows

PS - Between my GSX and Evo I have 2+ years of driving around with a loud *** exhaust, been pulled over probably 10 times, and only once did they mention my exhaust, and never got a ticket

Oh and everyone with MBCs may want to make sure you are watching your gauges for overboost at night since the weather is dropping almost 30*. Time to starting turning down teh boost controller.
