Al is a really good guy. If he thinks you should be warrantied he will actually try to make sure it gets done. I know he ordered my steering wheel without even asking the rep. He told me that these cars are expensive enough not to have all these stupid problems.

He has to physically see them himself. Take the pics of the calipers, VIN plate...blah blah blah. I tried that idea of pics via email. He seemed like he was quick to end the call. I don't mind driving there (140 +/- mile round trip) but only if its going to help me out with this issue. Got to make the trip to find out.

Al seems like a pretty good guy. He seems like he doesn't mind trying to take care of us Evo guys, along with what Turco said about our cars our expencive enough, he told me that as well. So I think you will be good Tim.

Good Luck!

And Mike, I'm pretty sure Rai is going to be stoked to make some new Evo buddies! He loved my friends out in WA, I'm gonna bite the bullet and let him ride in the Evo again when its all set, so what if I have to vacume it out after every trip. Lol

+1 I agree about the stupid problems that some of these generate.

But I also explained how I wasn't a warranty *****. Only things documented was when they turned my rotors twice due to warping, then the bad t-belt tensioner that made my t-belt jump 2 teeth on the exh cam. Almost a huge FAIL

I have been, but got denied (grille)

Al actually told me that if it was up to him he'd warranty just about anything, but they are just really tighta$$ed about Evos so he has to go through the district guy 99.9% of the time (i.e. turcos steering wheel prolly didn't need an ok by the district guy).

EDIT: turco come back on facebook!
