Kenny, how's the MR treating you? Have you begun to push that tach up and around yet?? I'm definitely looking forward to going for a spirited drive with you at some point...

Turco, think I have the general idea of what that does, its for when the engine is warming up the ecu doesn't rob power and give the car that jerky cold feeling? I'm probably totally wrong here.

The MR is treating me pretty well. When I went home to PA, I had around 1k miles on it so I started pushing it then. The transmission is impressive. It amazes me how different the car is in the different modes. If im cruising on the highway in 6th Normal mode, then switch to Sport, it instantly downshifts to 4th, and the car is constantly in higher revs. In sport it only shifts near red line. It also downshifts a lot more aggressively. Ive yet to try out S-Sport mode for some odd reason. There was one instance on a country road that I think i maybe have touched the rev limiter in 1st gear, not too sure why it happened but there were some traction issues because of gravel. It hasnt happened since.

honestly, I'm pretty excited to ride in your car. Just have to refrain from running to westboro and trading mine on their WW X MR afterwards. Lol.

Doesn't sound like there are going to be a lot of us at this meet, but we still need to decide on a place/time...

i work in natick and live in Lunenburg, I'm probably gonna jump 27 to 2 to go pick up Rai and then head back. As for eating, not sure really, I'll be hanging out side with the boy, not sure I wanna leave him in the back of the Jetta alone to long.
