I say opt for the WORKS .9" springs. I have been reading up on them, and they are suppose to be almost identical to the stock Eibach ride with the Bilsteins, just about an inch lower. I even read that one of the members on here said it lowered his car about 1", and then another 1/4" after it fully settled. That is teh exact drop I would want if I had this new X.
*EDIT- wait on power mods. I agree with Turco, wait until teh tuning market it stable for this.

Swift > Works > Eibach Pro ... I think thats where I'm at right now.
I agree that the Works look pretty close to the perfect drop.
So, the same car as yours was in the showroom. $44k sticker price. But after looking around at some of the other GSR's...I am torn as to deciding what I would be getting into next. I want the MR, but know I would miss shifting. The MR is looking better and better after much thinking
Next time I am able to make a meet, can you take me for a ride, or let me take your car along with you? I would like to drive an MR prior to buying one that has had the proper break in method already achieved. That would be worth a night of beers for you next time we head into Boston

MMM beer.
If you're thinking about buying a X, Ill let you check out my suspension. I think you will be pleasently suprised.
Now just find a time when we can get a meet organized.

Of course that's thoughts before I've ever ridden in one or driven one.

Yea, there is quite some mark up. I was wondering when I was there how much I could get him to go down on that car. Half the reason I wouldn't trade in mine was I couldn't justifiy paying 36k for a GSR, not that it's not "worth" it, but it's not when I love my car so much, even with how nice the X was. I think if I got him below 40k on the MR he could convince me to get into it.

When I am ready, I would be taking the extra steps to buy from Sam @ South Coast Mitsubishi. His discounts are very impressive. I have found that it is way cheaper to buy from him than to do so locally. Not one local dealer has agreed to price match what I was quoted from Sam on a WW X GSR w/SSS.

I was following those springs when they first came out. I heard that one person w/ an MR had to cut their stops or something along those lines to get them to fit properly. I know some claim that they are universal, but I dont think they really are. Swift says they dont have an MR solution out yet, so Ive been waiting to see what they have. The Eibach Pros also arent out for the MR yet, but I think I heard some bad reviews on those anyway even tho I think since it comes with Eibachs, better Eibachs would be the way to go.

$44k has some markup on it. You could probably knock him down $5k.
