I honestly HATE my pillar pod. It looks like such trash. If you go for a pillar mount then I strongly suggest getting a full replacement pillar.
However... You could stick with the autometer cup and mount it on teh A-pillar. I had my original boost gauge mounted that way and it looked great. I'll try to dig up some pics for you.
For a wideband, though, I really suggest a column mount. I'd move your boost gauge out to the pillar if anythign...

My only problem with that one is that it's an overmold... they still don't look all that clean...but it's a matter of preference, I guess when it comes to how the gauge cups look...
If I take Marshall's UEGO out this weekend, maybe I can convince him to sell you the gauge cup? :-)

ahh i didnt realize it was an overmold. I still think getting two gauge cups that match and drilling them into the stock steering column is your best bet.

word.
I really considered switching to the radio-location gauges when I eliminate my in-car harddrive (soon) but Kate stopped me. She apparently really like the A-pillar gauges... so I said "It's ricey" and she said "Isn't that the point"... and I realized she is right and I love her for knowing just how much rice to apply.
I want to replace the overmold with a pillar replacement...but then again, that's $35 i could spend elsewhere...

This was my original plan and is probably what I will do...

I hated my 3- pod a-pillar so much that I broke it purposely when I took it out to mount my 3 gauges in the factory radio location. 10000000000000x better. But it is personal preference.
On a side note, I have a ton of reading to do this weekend. Special delivery just came in for me. Nothing like the proper research before a purchase
