The one near Allora on 20 in Marlboro... he was after a Golf for a loud exhaust and I had the bad luck of getting in front of him so he just pulled me over instead.

That is my intention. I did not mention them to the cop.

ugh i hate these laws because it is all about profiling us as street racers. I am all for getting that crap off the streets, but just because we have an import with some modifications doesn't mean we are going to go run our cars against some fart can civic.

Man it sucks you got the ticket. I really look forward to my new exhaust, but dread the attention it will get me from the fuzz.

did you train him or did you send him to some obedience school? my friend's pit doesn't seem to really respond to any sort of correction for more than 2 mins at a time. at times she is fine, but when she gets excited, she starts chomping everyone.

i didnt formally train him, he just listens very well. He knows when I'm pissed off or happy or whatever and he responds accordingly. I tell him to come, he comes to me, I tell him to sit, he will, etc etc. Never really did anything but just repeat it over and over until he figured out what he was suppose to do. Thankfully he doesn't bite except when he plays with another dog he will play bite or with me when I rough house with him he will play bite which is more along the lines of he takes my hand/arm in his mouth and just holds it there.

So what is it? How did they arrive at that tax amount?

My guess is that since you pay 1 year in advance for excise tax, you're being charged for '08. But only for Aug-December... it's basically the same situation I had when I bought mine in Sept of '04... i got charged 1/3 of $750 the first year...
