I have had nothing but bad experiences with central vacs.

Really? I have heard nothing but good things.

I am so tired of replacing lame floor vacs every year. You pull them out of the box and they don't even work! Whether its the hippie-*** HEPA filtration or energy-star compliance or a simple unwillingness to build a reasonable machine, I have yet to find a reasonable vacuum.

I'd like to hear more about your experiences with them before I pursue this option but I am truly sick and tired of vacuum shopping.

My grandparents always had one. They are uber expensive and break all the time. Not to mention they are subject to leaks and animals eating through them and causing issues. They are a wicked PITA.

My mom has had a kenmore vacuum, same one i have, that she has had for like 7 years now. Her whole house is cleaned every other week too. She has had a couple of problems but the service plan covers everything at sears.

well thats ultimately what you wanted - a player that handles playlists etc. Flash is just middle ware. There are a several flash based video players that should support what you need if you ever decide to go back to flash.
