Unfortunately not really Its SUPER lame I know....

When it was ATI... we got 50% off whatever they had in stock and FREE shipping... and they always had the newest cards in stock...

Now we get "discounts" on ancient cards which are in actuality more than you find on newegg...

I'll double check incase this has changed... they were supposed to fix this...

EDIT:

the best deal i can get now is:

ATI Radeon HD Radeon 3870 Mac & PC Edition RoHS 512Mb
Price: $109.99

its SLIGHTLY cheaper than newegg... i'd recommend springing the extra 50 bucks for a 4850 if you want to game tho...

thanks. i appreciate it. i am looking to pick up one of the HD4000 cards since they actually let you put 8 channel LPCM over HDMI (which you can't do from a computer now). since my computer is my blu-ray player, it would be nice to be able to actually use the new advanced sound formats.

if not, they have the 4870 on sale at newegg...i may just pick one up.

if you are not looking to game... and only want to buy the card to playback... get a 46xx card. it should be exactly as good. the 43xx should be the same as well if you really want to save money. i personally would get the 46xx though.

since the card will do the processing for blu-ray playback, i didn't want to skimp. my understanding is all of the H.264 processing gets moved to the card with the newer chipsets. you think the 46xx will be adequate for use with a 50" TV? i was most interested in the gddr5 used in the 48xx cards more than anything else.

i was thinking about getting one which was passively-cooled to keep the noise down, but i think the case fans kill that idea anyway....stupid heat.
