Anyone have a 5 speed tranny and/or non acd transer case they are willing to part with? I'm pickin up another project evo and looks like it might need a tranny and/or transfercase.

Is it possible to purchase rebuild kits for the tranny? I've always wanted to rebuild one.

Someone just explained a resolution to a machine problem that we had here with the following phrase:

"He just wasn't pushing it in far enough."

Any idea how hard I had to bite my toungue on that? *sigh*

Oh well, we'll always have:

"Just put the tip in when she brings it back."

i would go with the normal shep or jacks transmission rebuilt ones. As long as you have a core it will probably be better turn around and options then trying to rebuild it yourself. Plus they will be built so they dont have the same issues (shot peened or REM treated spider gears). It might be more pricey but you wont have to do it agian. Good luck!
