This is the first time I do business with him. Let me have it done first and confirm he is safe to dealt with then I'll shoot you his information. Sounds good? He said if I drop off my wheels tomorrow or Wednesday it should be done by Monday or early next week.

No, he doesn't have a color chart, I believe it's just a side business that he does but I think you can give him a color code and he can search it or special order it for you.

Hmmm... If my thinking is correct, which it rarely is..
Could I run multiple 10W resistors that equal up to 50 ohms? Wouldn't it help keep the heat down enough that I could keep the setup inside the cabin if I say.. put it in an insulated box or something?

if a single resistor is getting hot enough to heat up your entire cabin it would explode

i'd be interested in what he charges as well... i've wanted to do my winter wheels for a while...

i'm guessing the 225 is for sandblasting + powdercoating. i wonder how much to repair curb rash? if he even does it...

I'll keep you guys informed about the final cost when I drop off my wheels tomorrow or Wednesday. The initial quote he gave me is $255 for 4 wheels and the color I picked is matte gray. He said candy or wrinkle color would be more expensive.

Here is the link to spoofing the heater. I am still not sure spoofing the heater will pass emissions. This also includes the old O2 sim, now there is a tephra patch that allows you to turn it on and off.

ugh. looks like we're gonna be having 16-hr days wednesday, thrusday and friday with a potential for weekend working as well.

Hooray! My fun forecast is looking bleak...

The upside? If I have to work past midnight, I can at least come in later in the morning AKA get some work done on teh house/car...
