So she is finally back on the ground after a wonderful fight with the airbox and my new boost line system. BTW dave/guys did you know that at idle there is atmospheric pressure coming from the turbo? I didn't and thus my gauge didn't. Anyway she is all back together include the 14.56 million undertray clips. I hope to see if the new mods made a difference yesterday. Of course i dont have my MBC set yet so i should only be making 17lbs of boost. I will post up final pics tomorrow. It looks sexy.

JDM rear is on the vehicle! looks sick, took about 3 hours, mostly modding the license plate area and removing existing rivets!

Anyone wanna watch the Pats at our place tonite? If there's some interest, I'll check with kate and plan something

it is heavily debated about oiled filters on cars with MAFs that the oil can dirty the maf. People say it does get on the MAF other deny it. I tend to find that MAFs DO need cleaning when running an oiled filter. Of course it could be do to running the filter too long without recharging it, it could be due to the quality of the filter. I just dont want to run a filter that requires more maintenance then either replacing it or just a simple wash. It is just preference from running oiled filters in the past and friends that run them. I mean enough people run them where i wouldnt be worried it is just something else to have to maintain.

my K&N wasn't "over-oiled" as some come and my MAF still required some cleaning with each oil change, same story with my AEM which required oil...it's really no problem, but since I switched to the Apex'i dry filter I haven't had to clean the MAF at all.
Paul, you'll be fine...I would clean the MAF in 5-10k miles and see how much debris gets washed out...it won't be breaking your car either way.
