With the proper supporting mods (which I'm almost there) my recent installed 6.5 TME will/could have me at the 380+whp mark when properly tuned. That will be DSG's job when I finally get there for my tune. That number was enough for me as a daily street driven car. So I decided on the TME. I didn;t see the need for me to up to a 20G with conversion kit to support my VIII intercooler piping. Wasn't worth the additional cost for me. Besides, I have way better places to dump $1k than to send it out and build up a blown turbo thats sitting on a shelf here at work. I was just lookin for parts to do this myself. I guess it gets a little more involved than I planned on getting into. Balancing would be my only concern.

My car isn't black and doesn't have CF fenders....maybe I will be okay
J/P...honestly, I haven't heard anything negative. I plan on going to them. I believe there are a few members locally that have used them and have had "great success" (in my best Borat voice )

I was planning on going to them when I "eventually" modify my car. My initial plan is that once its not my daily driver, or at least closer to having it's warranty expire, shooting for around 320-330 awhp. tune, TBE, intercooler + piping, maybe cams, etc...

I did hit this from multiple angles. After speaking /emailing back and forth with a couple different places, DSG is local, experienced, and affordable. $500 for a custom tune is not a lot to spend for what it is. If I chose to go further south, it will cost me more in gas money, an entire day of travel, and most important my time. I have very little time as an expense. So it does make sense, for me, to use a reputable shop that is about 1 hour drive for me each way. The other tuners have a great establishment, and if I was closer to them, I would use them. I have read great results from Ivey and Jestr, but the drive for me is just too far. If this was something I am looking to get every possible tenth of a second and most HP possible, I would travel. But I am keeping this tune at a more reliable stage than a highly aggressive stage. I'm not looking for bragging rights, just a proper tune to support my mods
