Not sure its worth the headache and backlash from a neighborhood.

nah, thanks to gravity when coffee spills it tends to be around your waist. Plus you need attention at eye level.

FYI, i believe they have had this in Seattle for at least a year now and it is very successful. Which is why i was considering it for around here. Hardest part would be zoning - obviously
