is your throttle cable too tight? maybe the cold was making it stick.

Could be but I haven't moved my throttle cable. Maybe the cold weather caused it to freeze up a bit or something.

I have a small problem with the Evo and I was hoping someone here could help. Today when I was driving to the bank and every time I hit the brakes, the car would rev to 1500-2000 RPMS and then slowly come back down to normal idle RPM. I figured it must be because the car isnt at temperature yet but even once it got to the normal temp, it kept doing it. Anyone know what can cause that? I really dont wanna go to the dealership unless I absolutely have to. Also, no check engine light or brake light and my brake fluid is full in case anyone was wondering.

nah my car does the same thing when it isn't up to temp. Just because the gauge "looks" up to temp doesn't mean it is. I always go by my oil pressure gauge (water temp gauge works too) but dash gauges like that should never be depended on.

I will gladly be asking a few people for assistance the first time. I know vegas has some tricks that he uses.

Yes sir it is. Having my own garage now helps as well. May not be the nicest and I end up making a few runs down the road to my old mans for tools I don't have yet (Dad = retired mechanic w/ tons of tools) but it is awesome none the less.

Plus I'm learning more and more about my car every time I work on it which is even better! I ask less annoing questions!

why the hell does it say account disabled under marshalls name?

don't tell me because he said that stuff about Jojo. thats pretty ****ing weak

if a mod considers that something that needs to have a vendor title for its retarded. its essentially another Evo/DSM guy helping other Evo/DSM guys do a clutch job at a super cheap price. You tell me whats wrong with that Mod God

I had to change my avatar....yet I see ones that are far worse than mine was, and they are not asked to change them...??? Mine was more funny than it was explicit. But I won;t argue over a picture....but if you are going to police me and ask me to change something that he/she doesn't agree with, than those rules should apply to everyone. A mod had posted in a thread, and a few posts before that a members avatar was a pic of a girl topless holding her chest. A battle not worth fighting imo.

I just don't see the harm in him posting that in this thread. Pretty much everyone here knows everyone. He didn't go out and make a thread trying to bring Jojo business. I remember seeing threads devoted to "The Shop" in CT. I don't see them as a vendor here, yet those threads don't get deleted....disableing his account was overkill if you ask me.
