No offense to you Ajay...
But...
I call MAJOR BS on anyone who says they'll get an R34 into the states...or any Skyline for that matter.
Yes they exist, yes it can be possible. It costs a fortune and the path is strangled in red tape.
I've seen/heard it a hundred times, especially on teh intarwebs.
I will believe it when I see it...

Mind you, Chris brought is R33 over here in like 02 I think and his R34 a year or two later, bought the R34 after his 2nd or 3rd tour. I could be wrong on the years, but I assure you there are plenty of skylines running around the states and most are legal.
There are a few that are brought in through Canada and Florida that have fake titles and JDM vins and are not really legalized, but I know a few guys with those who have never has any real trouble. Though they could if it came down to it.
If you don't believe me check it out for yourselves. There are more than one forums dedicated to Skyline owners and their cars here in the states. Hell, I've seen more then one on the road. Especially while stationed in Washington. I cruised to an Evo/STi/Nissan meet with 3 Skylines. 2 R32's and one R33.
(Let it be noted, I am not arguing, I don't want another ban, just stating what I have seen with my own two eyes.)
I won't be bringing anything to a meet in Feb, if all goes right I'm hoping to be getting ready to ship off to Japan for 60-90 days. Besides, his cars are both with him down at Fort Bragg.
One of the Skylines I know of, believe this is Chris' buddy...it's an R33 in Texas, this car will be down at Deals Gap in late May when I go down with them. I'll make sure to get plenty of pics of all the Skylines. There's also suppose to be a JDM FD, Toyota Chaser and maybe even a Pulsar GTi-R...Turco, if you love Sentra's like you say you must know what those are...no?

I've heard of people picking up junk 240sx's and rebadging the vins from those and registering the skylines as 240's and I've also heard of importing the car somewhat apart in separate pieces and registering it as a "kit" car.
