Honestly....I think the amount of snow we have had recently has had a big impact on the ice. The snow cover insulates from the really cold weather we have had, preventing it from freezing enough so we can get out there lame>

You are probably right, since it usually snows when it is warmer then colder it is probably trapping any heat in the ice instead of making it colder.

TIM - anychance you have hook ups to get a -6an inlet and outlet adapter for a 90-94 turbo mitsubishi eclipse?
