I have a quick question for you guys. I have the opportunity of getting an AMS DP that has a bung welded onto it for a wideband. Do you guys think I'd be better off putting the O2 sensor from the wideband into the downpipe instead of a test pipe?

doesn't matter as long as it is pre cat - which isn't an issue in your case.

Ah ok. Thank you very much! and Ajay, if you don't mind I might be picking up the exhaust this weekend and it'd be great if I can swing by and drop it off at your house and while I'm there, we can take a look at that dimming problem. The guy im buying the exhaust off of offered to install it for me but I'm not sure if it'll cause any problems since I'm bone stock.

Nice. I might install it while I'm there so I wont have to take up anyone's garage space. Should sound pretty good and hopefully I wont get many tickets for it lol. Anyone here running a test pipe and had any problems getting the car inspected? Mine has the cat covers welded on so it should pass visually.

I would have Dan put it on for you. He is a great guy and knows evo's better than most in new england.

Dan and I go way back. great guy.
I almost bought that exhaust off him, but the new car is taking precedent over new parts for the evo.

Luckily you passed on the exhaust because I've wanted an AMS exhaust for a while and he's selling it to me for a great price. I think ill be dropping by his house sunday since he's gonna be busy on saturday. Its nice to get to know evo owners such as Dan because he definitely knows his stuff.

whatever you decide to do is cool with me Josh, the exhaust will be up in the storage area above my car so it won't be in the way.

I'll let you know. Also if I have the exhaust installed, I can still swing by Sunday since I wont be that far away from Marlborough.
