Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can move a car into a garage with all 4 wheels permanently locked & with the shifter stuck in an exploded 5th gear?

I might by a winch and rig one up in my garage and just pull the damn thing inside.

Buy the car dollies. Removing the axle shafts would be a big job to just get it rolling

Noob!
Just go to the usergroup section and 'join'. They don't do it based solely off 50 posts, so you need to request it as mentioned.

how far is it from the garage? i wouldn't but you could try jacks. You could also remove the front two axles. The rear probably isn't locked and you need to drain the fluid from the tranny anyway.

I just thought of this while in the shower, I feel stupid for not thinking bout it before. I was prepared to swap out the tranny in 28 degree weather on the cold snow but it'll only take me 15 minutes to get both axles off with power tools.
Already tried using a jack to lift the front of the car and push but the snow/ice is causing it to get stuck. Already disconnected the driveshaft yesterday (car wouldn't slide off the flatbed without it) so removing the axles is the next logical choice aside from my bootleg winch idea.

Absolutely great article on Autoblog. Very well written and amusing - unlike most of the garbage posted on this thread (srsly)

at part throttle, it's abundantly clear that the Lambo is a completely different beast compared to its corporate cousin, and as soon as I mash the gas into the carpet, I'm sold. Damon needs a Gallardo. I'll break the bad news to the wife later.
Few things can prepare you for the full-throttle thrust of a Lamborghini V10 and even fewer get you ready for the brakes. On my way down to the hairpin I lift off, shift down from third to second and engage the anchors, nearly stopping behind my turn-in point. Time to recalibrate my innocent ideas of physics. Back into first gear, I make my way around the 180-degree turn, begin feeding in the gas and rocket towards the next bend. At full-chat, the V10's blare sounds like nothing in the known universe. Try to imagine an extraterrestrial's war cry and you're not far off.

Hey, where in Mass are you? I have access to a set of 4 wheel dollies and I also have a portable winch I use to pull my car into my trailer. We might be able to get the car inside for you.
