Why are you trying to remove the sensor if its already in? Im not positive but i dont think you should put pb blaster on it, it could stain the DP maybe?

I'm not worried about staining the test pipe. The sensor for the wideband is not installed. I have a plug where it needs to go because when I installed my exhaust, I forgot to bring the O2 sensor from the wideband with me. So basically right now all the wiring is ran and the gauge works but I pretty much have no air fuel reading since the sensor is not installed.

Also if you need any help installing yours, just let me know.

well i used to bring my focus to them... everytime i got it back somethin else went wrong...

I just got my evo recently and it started again...

the last straw was i brought it to them to change the timing belt... they changed it and i got it back and i was like something doesnt feel right... they were like its fine so i left and went only a few miles up the st to my friends house parked stayed there for the night... the next day i drove him to work and on my way back to his house after droppin him off i heard a loud bang and then metal clanging around and then tons of smoke pouring out of the engine bay...pulled over got it towed to esp... went there the next day they said an exhaust manifold bolt shot out and oil leaked on the turbo manifold... they said all the bolts were loose and that someone must have loosened them... the only thing is no one had touched the car but them since i bought it so its kinda questionable... mind you the car still didnt feel fine when it left there the 2nd time... again they said its fine and timed correctly... i didnt believe so i went to westboro mitsubishi and sure enough it wasnt timed right and they fixed it and now it feels great

so i guess i have just lost confidence in them

Not that i am defending them but i thought i read somewhere that the timing marks on the 03 evos are wrong so they may not have known.

Timing might have been off, but it sounds like the balancer shafts were out of sync. I have heard when they are off, bolts from all over the engine bay start backing out.

any mechanic would know to not rely on the plastic marks on the timing cover. If you use the marks on the pullys in the timing case everything lines up good. (found out the hard way)

Because this site is made up of not just Evos, but also Lancers, RalliArts, and the new Lancer.

And I am in it.

Finally got that damn O2 plug off. I guess when you can't get something off, you just need a bigger wrench lol.

True, I'm not personally a fan of the reg lancers but thats just my opinion. The calender looks great though. I especially dig August, Oct and the GG in mid air (march).
