not bad. I want to break low 12s this year but i fear my clutch might hold me back. I feel like i could easily get close to or hit 110.

I have seen the stock clutch go 1.59-1.65 60ft's before. Won't last very long, but doable.

stock clutch works well since you can slip it out a bit, but only a few times, then say good bye.
thats why I love the twin disc. slip it out just a tad and then hammer it.

My clutch lasted me about 30 runs down the strip, more than half of them stock with a best stock time of 12.84@108 or 9 and a best time modded of 12.3 @ 111 with the clutch long gone, bald advans and oil on the track at NED. I was pretty pissed that every run that night I came out of the gate sideways. Love how they take care of that track.

I'm going to break 11's this year and when I do I'm done with drag racing...for awhile anyway. It's fun when there is nothing else to do, but I'm not trying to go for any records so why keep beating the hell out of the car at the drag strip when I reach my goal?

And once my single disc exedy is gone I'm going twin

I hear ya, its frustrating sometimes when you have a track thats not prepped that well.
my next drag car will be solid rear end, rwd, with big slicks, and boost!!

woah.

it really does. especially coming from the west coast. out in WA they had 2 drag strips close to me. Both of them were extremly well maintained and EXTREMLY well run. If something went wrong on the track it was cleaned up well and fast. On TnT nights they would run street cars, slicks, the local 2 wheel racing club, kids in the mini dragsters, etc etc. They had a lot going on but I would always get a good amount of runs in. The most I have ever managed at NED was 3.

To many slow honduhs breaking on the track and they don't care to clean it up well. F*ck it, they just won't get a lot of visits from me this year. I'm only going there because I really want to see what my car is capeable of with an aggressive tune/good clutch/good tires. My tune for my trip home was pretty mild, plus I didn't have a wideband or good boost gauge. That should all be fixed for this year.

It won't make a difference, you will still be complaining about traction. NED is 2nd rate track when it comes to traction on their street nights.

How often do you drive your Syclone? I swear I saw one a couple months (had to be in the fall sometime) back on Rt 9, damn near broke my neck trying to get a look at it. A buddie of mine had a sweet one out in WA...pretty sweet trucks.
