No such thing as off topic here. Just ask Paul R how the X wheels fit on his IX

i completely blame myself for not actually knowing the answer to this!

at the bare minimum when i bolt my bbs's back on i gotta at least slide one X bbs on to see how it feels... just the tip... haha

marshface, i actually think the X brembos are larger though than the viii/ix.

Really? Shows what I know. Did you already pick up a set and have them not fit, or am I missing something?

Rotors (by 1" front and 0.8" back) and Calipers are bigger. Pads are the same size I'm pretty sure.

why would the calipers be bigger but the pads the same size? weird.

I thought that the Xs just had larger discs, with relocated calipers...but i may be wrong....

Nope, I am 99.9% sure the X BBSs fit stock (pretty sure I've seen pics). I was just saying I think the X Brembos are bigger (i.e. the X BBSs need more clearance than the IX BBSs). Kenny's BBS's are in my garage. I certainly could be wrong about the calipers being bigger...

edit: regardless of details... i dont think the brakes are the exact same between the viii/ix and x but the x wheels should bolt right up to an viii/ix.

Stay tuned, we are going to be coming out with some very cool stuff for the EVO X soon.

Hahaha, that's great.

At some point we're going to have to introduce ourselves to her. She's sweet. I totally think you should try to break up her marriage.
