Welcome to the forums. There's another hobbit that lives out your way...

We'll have more regular meets when the weather gets nice...hopefully this weekend we'll be having an ice race meet...

I'm voting for the 20", but I keep thinking about how many times I've said "I wish I had another 4 inches....." 24" does seem overkill, though....

Dont be offended. Dave thinks anything outside Marlboro is Middle Earth, that is why he never leaves.

Turco could do it for you, but he would Definitely bend you over (in the literal sense). Its pretty much a requirement for any service via Turco Tuning.

I'd vote if I had any hint of an educated clue. I offer this advice: Bigger is better (According to SHE)

i vote 20" it seems more usable under most conditions. unless are you planning on shooting past 600 yards? but then 5.56 probably isnt the right round.

I IM'd this to nsexrz earlier, but thought I should share with the rest of the class

Volvo t-belt service intervals are every 105k (pretty sweet for car owner)
T-belt $59.40
Tensioner $96.62

...what happens when you DON"T buy the tensioner to save money
