Worcester/Boston Social Thread
I've been pretty good so far with the Evo. It's so easy to control in the snow/crap. But I learned all my sideways antics in my RX-7. I had to drive it for a few months in a snow a couple years back when my 1G DSM broke down and I had no other choice. Lets just say that a 2500lb car with RWD in the snow is VEEEEERY interesting. Haha. I would do again though.
What helped me was Winter Driving school at Team Oneil's rally facility.
I'm not awesome at sliding, but i'm good enough to scare the crap out of my passengers, without putting it into a pole/guard rail.

I'm convinced the only way to learn to slide is by alot of sliding seat time.

Theres something so fun about heading towards a corner twice as fast as you should (especially in the snow) and seeing your passanger grab for the oh sh*t handle while you effortlessly drift it through the corner like you were born with a steering wheel in your hands and pedals at your feet.

this day is DRAGGING along for me
feels like ive seen every minute change to the next, since 8 thismorning
i want it to be 5, so i can go out and do whatever
im still arguing with my dad about ane xedy stage 2, hsi argument is what if it breaks, whos gonna warranty it, he doesnt want me to pay someone on the side to do it, and i made it clear to him i wast going back to courtesy mitsu. i might have a local guy do it, hopefully hell be able to warranty it or somthing if it breaks, obviously not because of my behalf.

As far as warrenty, if you need someone to do it, Marshall and I can highly recommend someone who is a Mitsu tech. He is the only person at a dealership I would EVER let touch my car. And if you think it'll void your mitsu warrenty it won't. He knew I had a clutch in my car and didn't care. It's a wear and tear iten and exedys can be rebuilt for less than half the price of the clutch itself.
worth the money, don't make my mistake, do it once and do it right (TWSS)
