I dunno if you care but I run the Hawk HPS pads and I love em'. They are eating into the rotors a bit and will require new rotors when I'm through them but they grip really well and to be honest I don't think they squeal at all like most people say they do. I haven't checked lately to see how much they've worn but I have had them for well over 30K miles and wouldn't change my mind. I think I bought them from a brake vendor on here.

Paul S- The HP+ will give you the all out performance oriented for autox and/or track days. However, it was HIGHLY advised to me that if you decide to run the HAWK HP+ that you swap the pads just before you drive to said event, and then change back to either your stock pads and or a set of HAWK HPS pads after you get back. These pads are not practical or recommended for street use. I will email you the price for the HP+ in a few

hps's are already sitting in my garage && im lazy lol
i also got them dirt cheap through tirerack when buying my tires... i think i paid like 150 for all 4 iirc. i essentially got the rears for free and the fronts for 50 less than what they normally go for. not sure exactly what i paid for them.
maybe next set...

I run HPS, I think I need to re bleed my brakes (brother in law did them and sometimes they just don't grab, cold or warm, but it could be me, I am always super paranoid about my car) but they do stop pretty damn well when they want to (which is 99.999% of the time).
Fixed because I was distracted.

Here are my HPS's after 6-8 months of DD/AX:
They are smooth to the touch (mirrored). And lacked any bite on the street. Needed a lot more pedal pressure to stop on these.
They are only rated to 600F and lacked anything resembling bite.
HP+ are better, but are still not track pads. Their MOT just is not high enough for track days.
I see 900F+ with my IR gun after a cool down lap - and I have ducts.

I am confused...what does this post supposed to mean? You go from saying that "they don't grab"....to.... "they stop pretty damn well." I read this a few times and its sounds completely retarded.
