+1 Bill, i respray mine at the beginning of every spring, it's really not that bad to just remove the front bumper and spray the mesh......I dont think it really is a part that mitsu should warranty, road conditions are different everywhere, it's gonna happen eventually where it will start to chip...

Exactly, I have resprayed mine twice so far. Will be doing it again soon when I install the new lower lip. And my car has only 49k miles. Respraying it is the most cost effective way. The better you prep it the better it will hold up. I use industrial primar and black semi-gloss engine enamal spray paint.

For those discussing the front grill replacement, well, why bother buying a new one just because it is chipped. For the money for one (Mitsu lists it out at $116), it's not really worth it. It's not like Mitsu made them better and are not going to do it again eventually....hence why I have just resprayed mine twice so far.
I know it's none of my business what anyone does...but just seems like a waste of $$ to me for something that isn't any better. Just my 2 cents.

Yessir, that's the plan. I probably won't get out of work until 6 but then I will head right over.
which reminds me...does anyone want to meet at my place and head over?
Paul, Dexters, Marshman?
EDIT: I'll probably bring the camera tonite as well- if the cars are clean, I can grab a few shots....
