some pics from ice racing sunday:
(IBcommentsaboutmidgetdriving)
simultaneous drift with one of the evos back on the practice course!!
they set up a new course with no snowbanks (woot) in Hebron because I guess the Bristol police harassed them last time about EMS's and stuff. The conditions were good early on but turned very sloppy/slushy later in day. I got 7 runs in which was awesome because only 25 or so cars showed up: 2 evos and 3 subarus (including myself and my friend Jon)

Nice pics, Eric. That looks like a much much better course than we had, both grip- and risk-wise.
Sorry I hadn't posted pics earlier...here are some:
My sub-$20 camera mount and HD Camera:
The waterproof camera and Panavise vacuum mount on Dex's car:
PROOF!!
*sigh* Dexters has a fail...
How happy is this guy?!?
Oleg, gettin' the tail out:
Brilliant...
This white RS was killing it for most of the day, then he had sort of a major run-in with the snowbanks and seemed to wreck both bumpers...

As far as camber, it really depends on how hard you drive the car. The harder you drive, the more you'llneed to keep the proper contact patch. Then, I'd run about 1 degree less in the back than in the front. That will again help with rotation since your front wheels will have better contact than your rear ones. Again, that will be fun for real auto-x, but it may be a little twitchy on the track so be careful.

<---is jealous you have your springs installed. I've been putting it off and putting it off. That's it, next warm weekday we have it's getting done. I hope.
