I'm hearing they are very close to R compound tires....it'll be interesting to feel the difference between these and my R comps now....plus these I could actually drive in the rain if necessary!

i just based that off the 200 treadlife rating, which is the same at the Z1*. tread pattern looks more aggressive.

treadlife is not standardized. 200 for nitto != 200 for dunlop.

yeah they look really impressive. Once the advans are done i will be checking them out. I have a feeling they wont last long for street driving though. But you probably drive the evo about as often as i do.

probably not well, and yes i would say they are better for DD. Depends on the miles you put on your car.

Bridgestone is replacing the RE01Rs with the RE11s. Might want to consider those. Dunlops will be the cheapest by far tho.

dude im sooo tempted to buy the re01rs... 78 or 98 for 245/45-17s (depending on age)... baller!

kenny you should check them out. idk what the closest to your stock size will be... re01rs will have a stiffer sidewall than the Z1*s

EDIT: your option is 245/45-18 for $139.00 each. they only have a 140 wear rating tho. dunlops are 200.
