yea as i stated the turbo was like new since it had very little miles on it. there was no shaft play at all. i ran 12 psi through it (wastegate spring pressure) for a few weeks before i finally got around to installing injectors and upping the boost. that is when it blew.
i am gonna take it out and see if it can be re-built. you think if it was just oil starved it can be re-built?

Who was the guy who had his stock wheel powerder coated for his new Lancer? I have been wanting to buy some new wheels for awhile and I think to fight the urge until next year I am going to powerder coat my BBS's. Not 100% sure what color, but I have 2 in mind.
I know he hasn't posted in here in awhile, figure I could PM him

If I'm going to do it I need to bite the bullet and do it soon. I got some big news this weekend. I'll share just not yet.
Have you seen any of their work or prices Josh? You can text me if that's easier.

Ive seen their work and I believe Paul (MyEvoDream) took one of his wheels there to be repaired. My brother is taking his Volk TE-37's there to be repaired and powdercoated but I have no clue how much they'll charge to powercoat your wheels though. You can give them a call, their number is 888-274-6776

rim pro does nice work. i work at a caddy dealer and the clear coat always peels on certain chrome rims that are stock caddy wheels. we send em to rim pro and the come back brand new.
