Anywho.. tomorrow Jamie (Jack of Trades), myself, and the fiances will be hitting ESP tomorrow at for an hour of dyno time...all to ourselves

I decided to rent the dyno for an hour to see what we gained from the new set-up, so can't wait. Just on our street tuning alone, the car feels like a whole different beast .
Bill did you end up putting in the 35r?

No actually. Realizing I enjoy my car on the street more than anything, and that I syill would have needed to invest so much more to support it better, I ended up selling it, and spending the money on some much needed tires, alignment, inspection right before I left Mitsu , and a BR race fmic and Evo IX turbo with Forge wastegate.

First off, I would like to say big thanks, and big thumbs up to Dave at ESP. In all the years I have been "playing this game", Dave was bar far one of the coolest, and laid back people I have ever gotten th pleasure to do business with. Knowing they close early on Saturdays, I do have to say, at no point at all did I feel the least bit rushed, and in my book, that is huge. As it was, by the time my hour was up, and we BS'ed, it was already 2..lol So ya, again, huge thumbs up for ESP. I have done plenty of business in the past with them, when I was at whatever Mitsu dealership, but it was cool seeing how I would get treated as a customer for a change.

Now for results. First off, being my first time on a Mustang dyno, I do have to deff see why they call it the heart breaker dyno, but screw that, I know I left pleased.

I will have to post pics later and what not, and my exact tq numbers (Jamie has my graphs for the Evoscan dyno simulator he is working on). Ok, enough rambling..final numbers:

3rd gear final tune
347awhp/331awtq (i believe)

4th gear final tune
363awhp/350-something!!!!

Not bad for a "stock" turbo

I promise I will have vids and graph pics at some point.

His mods as far as I can recall:
  • Comp 280 cams
  • Evo IX turbo which I gasket matched the outlet side for him
  • Forced Performance 10.5 hotside
  • Gasket matched eBay O2 Housing
  • 3" TBE
  • SMC alky kit(100% meth)
  • Walbro 255lph fuel pump
  • Buschur Race FMIC and piping
  • one sexy *** tuner

It was pretty cool tuning a car on a dyno for a change, I must say lol. And I also agree, Dave at ESP was super laid back and very helpful! I highly suggest asking your ladies for a gift certificate for a 1 hour self-tuning session (I know I did lol). The car definitely has more in her, just need a few tweaks and a little more tweaking to the tune.

You know you could have left out the sexy *** tuner part, and put the 3" Dejon Tool intake w/K&N, or the Evo X map, or GM ebc, ported Muse cast mani, ya know, one of those minor things you left out

But Jamie is right, I as well would highly recommend ESP. Dave was super cool, laid back, and at no point were we EVER rushed.

And oh ya, damn you Jamie, you beat me to the vid..lol

So wanna go again now Def have to say it was money well spent, and again, Jamie, I can't thank you (and the wife lol) enough for all the help/tuning!!
