I would call it obnoxious.

I would look for them offered from another company. Cobb wont be producing any hard parts anymore, only APs.

their gun laws are equally as dumb. only CA trumps us in stupidity wrt cars and guns.

exhaust laws in ma are definitely ghey. i have a stock catback if you need to borrow it to pass.

EDIT: oh turco, i can finally come get that from you now that i have the saabaru! do you remember if we split it at all? if we could at least split it somewhere that would be great... axle back, either side of the cat... thx!

the law is very fuzzy. technically it is worded that it can not be modified in any way. i got a ticket for my exhaust (tanabe - "quiet/stealth"). i got it dropped arguing that it was designed to meet oem specs, which is what tanabe claims. they bill it as a direct replacement, not a modified component. the state can't legally force you to run the exhaust from mitsubishi. technically the dp and hfc make me illegal - but i left that bit out.

the best thing to do imo is run a quieter exhaust and just hope that the station you bring it to doesn't care/notice.

i personally wouldn't want to run anything louder than what i have. it isn't that much louder than stock and it can get annoying at times.

Anyone know of a bike rack solution for the MR? I have yet to find one I trust on my trunk and to many people say you can't put one on the roof.
