It's your money but with the mileage you are going to have a tough time selling the big ticket parts. I would let the car go to a better place for anything over 2-3k.
Well the car was at the body shop, the insurance company cut me a check to give to the body shop to start the work. They couldn't start for a few days so I called my insurance company to ask about using used parts and they said it was fine. They didn't tell me about the 2nd appraisal that they sent over, the body shop didn't even know one was coming. The Commerce adjuster told me I could buy the parts with my own money and the payment from the accident will cover it under the price of new parts.

I'm on the fence about buying it back now, I found a nice evo for a bit more that I'm deciding between with Mike's Evo. I definitely see what you mean about the high mileage components. Hey timz and Doc.. you guys might not get your rims after all...

Although I could find out what junk yard the car is heading to or auction and you guys can still have your duel. I want to watch though

i was changing the subject so we could talk about something else. either be part of the solution or you are just a part of the problem....

speakers are okay- looks like the damage was to two amplifiers, a pioneer elite receiver and a velodyne subwoofer. everything is out for repair- hopefully it won't take too long to get diagnosed. the tube preamp is fine. i guess that says something about technology these days....LOL
